New school project in Mozambique
February 14, 2011
In January 2011, the Hempel Foundation signed a contract with Danish non-governmental organisation IBIS granting funds for a new school project in Mozambique, Africa.
The school, located in the Zambezia province in northern Mozambique, needs funding to continue providing education to their 730 children. The grants from the Hempel Foundation will be used to support various activities such as continuing education for teachers, supplying school books and school uniforms, building a school library and communicating to parents about the importance of sending their children to school.
