Apply for grants

The Hempel Foundation supports projects for the common good – contributing to a number of humanitarian, scientific and cultural causes.

A note about eligibility

The Hempel Foundation does not provide funding directly to individuals for social support, scholarships or study tours, nor do we support associations, organisations or institutions handling political, economic or commercial interests.

How to apply

While we don’t have a standard application form or submission deadlines, you may send a grant request in the form of a letter with any supporting documentation to us at any time. Grant applications are reviewed at the Hempel Foundation Board meetings four times a year.

If you would like to apply for a grant:

• Make sure your project fits our consideration criteria
• Write an application that presents your project, including budget and the amount requested
• Include any information or additional documentation that supports your request
• Send your application by regular mail to:
