How to apply for support from Hempel’s Employee Foundations

In 2017 a new Hempel Employee Foundation was established as a supplement to the already existing foundation, and support are therefore granted from either Hempel’s Employee Foundation from 1954 (CVR.nr. 74697712) or the new Hempel’s Employee Foundation of 2017 (CVR.nr. 38652508). When sending your application to the e-mail employee.foundation@hempel.com, you will automatically apply for funding from both foundations.

Hempel’s Employee Foundations grant financial support to current and retired employees of the Hempel Group and their immediate family (spouse/partner and children) in the event of unfortunate situations. Support is also granted for funding of higher education to the children of Hempel employees.

 

The application must meet the following demands in order to be processed:

  1. The application must be sent directly to Hempel’s Employee Foundation
  2. The applicant must write a personal letter including reason(s) for applying and stating the amount applied for
  3. The application must include documentation that the purpose is relevant  (e.g. expert opinion, a study card, an admission letter etc.)
  4. The application must be in the PDF file format
  5. The application must include the applicant’s banking details:
  • Full name
  • Address
  • Bank name and full address
  • Bank account number
  • IBAN/SWIFT code

How the Employee Foundations process your information

When you apply for financial support from Hempel’s Employee Foundations, you give your consent to registration and the processing of the personal information specified in your application (cf. The EU General Data Protection Regulation). The consent can always be revoked and you are entitled at any time to be informed of what personal information the foundations have registered about you. The foundations use the information to process your application and to generate statistics on a general level regarding applicants, beneficiary and grants.

The foundations will uphold the personal information for as long as it is necessary with regards to the purpose described above, after which it will be deleted.

According to the Danish tax law, the foundations are obligated to submit information about grants to SKAT (Danish Customs and Tax Administration) if you are liable to pay tax in Denmark. This is only relevant if you have a Danish civil registration number, of which the tax reporting is based on.

Apart from this the foundations will not pass on any other personal information to third parties.
