Quality pre-learning and primary education for the “hardest-to-reach” children in Vietnam

Provision of quality inclusive pre-primary and primary education to children from three to ten years

As overall objective, the proposed project is aiming at bringing significant change for two ethnic minority communities through provision of quality inclusive pre-primary and primary education to children from three to ten years in a child-friendly environment.

Development of community-based quality inclusive, child-centered pre-primary and primary education and improved learning environment in primary school for minority ethnic children from three to ten years old in two selected communes.

Increased capacity of teachers, education managers and parents in the targeted communes to run ethnic minority semi boarding schools both on teaching capacity and on school management.

Conduct of a longitude study on pre-primary, transition from community-based pre-primary to primary school and further to main primary ethnic minority semi-boarding schools and acquisition of skills and learning outcomes of the targeted cohorts of children.
