Research in environmentally sustainable technologies
The Hempel Foundation supports research that will lead to new, more environmentally sustainable technologies in the coating industry. Our projects in this area include the Hempel Student Innovation Laboratory and the Elite Master Education programme. We believe both initiatives can bring about commercially-viable solutions that not only benefit the coating industry, but will also help reduce energy use, carbon emissions and waste. New discoveries play an important role in preserving and protecting our world.
