2023 has been a landmark year for the Hempel Foundation, filled with innovation, strategic breakthroughs, and deepened commitments to our core missions: global education and biodiversity conservation and sustainability.

We are proud to share our 2023 Annual Report. In 2023 we had strong financial results as a group with EUR 80 millions. We where therefore able to increase our overall level of donations to EUR 23 millions. This is more than four times more than 10 years ago.

Our impact around the world also grew. We have now strengthened quality education for 420,000 children with learning interventions and are currently working in 3.5 million hectares of the most important nature.

In Denmark our Saksfjed Wilderness project achieved significant milestones in rewilding and nature restoration.

In 2023 we also strengthened our strategy and build a stronger Foundation for the future. We are ready to further accelerate our impact.
