Investments
The Hempel Foundation has defined an investment strategy to support the purpose outlined in the trust deed.
The Foundation’s investments are held directly in the Foundation and through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Hempel Invest A/S and Hempel Properties A/S.
Our investments are diversified across different asset classes, with a primary focus on liquid assets such as listed shares, bonds, and credit.
In addition, investments are also allocated to illiquid assets such as real estate, land assets and private equity, including impactful investments and impact investments.
Most of our liquid financial assets are currently managed externally by professional asset managers.
These external professional asset managers operate under the mandate of the Foundation’s Investment Committee.
